Further Out Recordings

Run by Richard E, who was one half of Solar Apple Quarktette and Neptune Alpha Base Massive along with Martin Christy. SAQ began life as a nine-piece live outfit back in the early 90's, but due to life's interventions worked down to the crucial two.

Together they formed the Further Out label in 2001 to release their first single Flight 2. Dedicated to releasing leftfield dance/jazz/electronica and downbeat tracks that push boundaries, but are always musical. Further Out has also released tracks from fellow artists with the same vibe & goals like Bossa Futura and Alessandro Oliveiro.

Martin left in 2005 to pursue a life in chocolate (www.seventypercent.com) prompting Richard to kick off his solo career and a collaboration with his wife, Sheila, with the band Annabel (lee).
